Yoga for Recovery
Bridge the gap between the 12-Steps and Yoga
Yoga for Recovery weaves together the Source Principles of Baptiste Yoga (Physicalness, Possibility and Empowerment) and the practical tools of the 12-step program. We recognize that the “issues live in our tissues” and through our intentional themed yoga practice, we release what no longer serves us. Yoga For Recovery is an adjunct to sobriety by addressing the physical, mental, and spiritual disease of addiction. Through inquiry, group sharing, meditation, breath work, and physical asana practice, you will work to bridge the gap between the 12-Steps and yoga. This class is for anyone struggling with an addiction, or curious about the 12 steps. This is not a replacement for 12 steps meetings or working with a sponsor.
These classes are led by 200 Hour Certified Yoga Instructors who are also Y12SR (Yoga of 12 Step Recovery) trained leaders.
