Week Four: Fruit Salad and Smoothie

It’s the easiest way to approach the fruit fast, and a good way to do something different than just apples and bananas. This salad is great because the fruit is not culinary fruit (vs. botanical fruit) and feels substantial and satisfying. The smoothie is a great kick start to the day! Last week’s Banana Ice Cream is also a great addition to this fruit fast!
Mango and Avocado Salad
5 mangos, peeled and diced
4 tomatoes, diced
1 avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
Juice of one lemon
Combine mangos, tomatoes, and avocado in a large bowl. Top with lemon juice and stir. Enjoy!

1 cup mango, fresh or frozen
1 cup coconut water
Juice of an orange
Blend all the ingredients together and enjoy! This is my favorite smoothie for energy and vitality.
